The chart will be updated as new devices are available or announced. Content and features are not available on all platforms. Product specs are from the latest models currently available. Previous models may not have all of the same features. Check with the manufacturer for full details. Your TV manufacturer may offer extra built-in apps or streaming options with the above services such as Dolby Vision or 4K.

Amazon Fire Stick – Not 4K compatible.

Chromecast Ultra – Can play Dolby Atmos if plugged into certain Receivers/Amps/Soundbars. Not all are compatible.

Oppo 203 and 503 – Are essentially the same player. The 503 adds a headphone amp, XLR output, and a USB DAC.

Philips 7501 and 7502 – Use a proprietary App you must use. The 7502 does NOT support Atmos or DTS:X, not recommended! (Confirmed with multiple CSRs)

Roku Ultra – Adds an optical audio out which is highly recommended if you do not have a 4K capable receiver/amp.
Roku Premiere+ and Premiere – No optical output. Not recommended if you have an older amplifier.

Sony x800 and x1000ES – Stream audio from any phone/tablet using the SongPal app. Sony uses Miracast for video which is not available on iOS currently.
